Reciprocal Clubs

Visiting Guests

Milford Yacht Club extends reciprocal privileges to other clubs who are members of Yachting Club of America, as published in the most recent edition of the Register of American Yacht Clubs. In addition to the directory of clubs below, Milford Yacht Club may accommodate members of other legitimate yacht or boating clubs (generally, those having a permanent facility to meet, established by-laws, and elected officers) that recognize MYC as a reciprocal club.

If you are planning on visiting Milford Yacht Club as a member of a reciprocal club, you must do the following:

1. Email a letter of introduction from your club, listing the specific dates you plan on visiting, at least 48 hours in advance of your visit. The letter must be emailed to [email protected].

2. If coming by sea and looking for transient dockage, contact our Dock Office at (203) 783-0065 at least 48 hours in advance of your planned visit to make sure we have availability and can accommodate your vessel. Dockage for reciprocal guests is not guaranteed.

3. If coming by land or sea and looking to dine at the Club, call our reservations line at (203) 783-0070 at least 48 hours in advance of your planned visit to make sure we can accommodate you in the bar and restaurant. Reciprocal guest dockage availability does not guarantee restaurant availability.

***FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE ITEMS MAY RESULT IN DENIAL OF RECIPROCAL PRIVILEGES***

Please note the following MYC policies:

1. When visiting, please bring your club membership card for identification.
2. Use of Milford Yacht Club facilities (pool, showers, etc.) is limited to visiting reciprocal guests who have paid for dockage with us.
3. Reciprocal visits are limited to four per year and reciprocal guests may not bring guests.
4. Reciprocal guests are subject to and must abide by MYC House Rules.

Milford Yacht Club Members

Members of Milford Yacht Club have the privilege of visiting other clubs that recognize MYC as a reciprocal organization. Members should contact any club they plan to visit in advance to confirm reciprocity, find out their reciprocal policies and whether they can accommodate transient dockage. Most clubs require a letter of introduction from the Commodore or Secretary of MYC ([email protected]) and/or a current membership card. Please provide the name and address of the club you wish to visit and MYC will be happy to accommodate your request for an introductory letter. Letters may be obtained through the Club office during regular business hours.

Directory of Reciprocal Clubs

MYC maintains a directory of clubs that it recognizes as reciprocal. If your club is not on the list and you would like it to be, please send information about your club to the MYC Commodore ([email protected]) for consideration. Our Reciprocal Clubs are listed alphabetically, click on the appropriate tab for the club name and link, if available.
